34/365
This was the aftermath from last night. Over 15 kids from our little circle were jumping in the bounce house. I still had 3 pairs of shoes on my grass when I woke up this morning.

33/365
These series of events happened in all of about 10 minutes.
The kids were bouncing while I was planting. It suddenly started to storm. I frantically took down the bounce house and threw it in the foyer (big mess). The kids thought they would dance in the rain. Then they started splashing in the mud puddles. Then it was over just a few short minutes later.

Last night at dinner Alexa proclaimed quite loudly, "Grandpa, We are BEST Buddies".
She loves to play with her grandparents!!

There is nothing better than an ice cold Diet Coke after a long afternoon of 4 wheelin', swinging and getting dirty!

I think this was our first contact when we moved back to Utah.
Now that our yard is weedless, you can actually see our sign!

Greg played in a golf tournament on Saturday with his friend Ryan and Bro-in-law Michael for the University of Phoenix. Their foursome won the tournament and Greg won "closest to the hole". They each got gift certificates to the pro-shop for winning and Greg won a new Titlist Driver for closest to the hole.
Earlier this year he got a hole at River Oaks Golf Course. He is on a roll!

Homemade cake stands / platters. Under $5 and super cute! Yes Shannon, these two are yours. I'm so slow, sorry!

My niece Bentley turned 1 this month. This is a photo from her shoot I did on Saturday. She is a trooper. We packed her around in nearly 100 degrees for over an hour. Poor thing!

We visited the Chamberlains at their camping spot in Nephi last Friday. The highlight was the bike ride in the buggy. We looked for one the very next day because it was such a hit. The store was out but hopefully we'll find one soon.

The kids sleeping in my bed. We are anti sleeping with kids in our bed but occasionally we let them nap there. They both love it so much and think that it is a huge treat!!

This frame has been empty in my foyer for almost 8 months. I want a pix of my kids together to put in there but I don't have any that I like. So it sits empty.... some day they monkeys will cooperate and let me take a cute picture of them together!

Alexa started taking dance at a new studio last month. Parents day is the first class of each month. After 4 lessons I already see a huge improvement. She really loves her teacher and seems quite confident.

This is what Alexa and I do when she wakes up early and the boys are still sleeping. She loves to play "cards" which is usually a made up "go fish" style game. Her rules!

In an effort to reorganize our budget, chores and life in general I spent... FOREVER... making these two calenders.
One is a meal plan to help keep our grocery budget in line and avoid being wasteful, another is our daily cleaning and activities schedule.
Hopefully we/I can stay on track and accomplish some of our goals.
My friend Britany introduced me to two great blogs about being frugal and cooking on a budget. I was inspired!

Who knew that one little key could be such a huge problem. We only have one key to my car. Gavin has recently figured out that it is "fun" to play in our upper drawers that he can now reach. Yesterday he got into our key drawer and took my car key, one of his favorite toys.
This morning Alexa helped me search for nearly 2 hours for this silly key. I was sure he had thrown it away. After cleaning the toy room and going through every nook and cranny of this house I asked Alexa what we should do. She suggested we ask Heavenly Father for help. She said a prayer that we would find it "fast". I seriously found it less than 2 min later. I then suggested that we thank Heavenly Father for helping us find the key. She loves to pray and did the honors again. I'm very proud of my little gal and the lessons that she teaches me.

We are FINALLY getting our landscaping close to finished in the front. We need some mulch and one more tree to appease our HOA as well as extend our driveway to make room for a 3 point line. And then we are DONE! YAHOO. Then we will be moving onto the back! :)

Monday - day was spent at Thanksgiving Point with most of the Jepson grand kids.
We have a season pass and love to walk the gardens. My favorite part is the scenery. The kids love feeding the fish and the "secret garden" water feature. The middle picture if of Gavin trying to steal candy from the vending machine. :)
I had my cheap-o digital camera so don't judge the quality of the pictures.

Gavin's potty chair
Gavin LOVES the movie 'Cars'. He saw this while we were shopping the other day and flew out of the cart trying to grab it. I had no plans to get it out of the box any time soon but he demanded that I open it today. He sat down and started to go #1 almost immediately. It was a total fluke but he got a treat anyhow for doing what he should in there.

7/365 - My Buddy
Miss Alexa is my buddy!
Now that it is summer we like to have girls nights often. They aren't much "fun" be we hang out one on one and giggle, chat and be silly. Tonight we watched the latest episode of So You Think You Can Dance while I folded clothes. We both love it. We all know that she is "boy crazy" and when All Star Neil danced she got her "shy" girly look and said, "I REALLY like him, he is SOOOO cute!". I agree, he is my fav!
She made it up until the last dance which was at 11:55pm. I snapped this picture of her crashed on the couch at 11:59pm so it still counts for today!
I love my little BFF!
6/365 - Sierra
Day 6 was spent with my mom and kiddo's in Park City. We headed up at 2 to watch my niece Sierra's last camp day / parents performance. As always she was amazing.
Sierra is so much like me, it is kind of scary. We look a lot alike. In fact, many people ask if I am her mom (I always hope for older sister though :) ). We have the same looks, brain, talents and in many ways the same chemical make up. We both get crazy migraines on at least a monthly basis. We both are "heat intolerant" as one doctor called it. We get very dehydrated easily and have a hard time being out in the sun.
Her camp was Tuesday - Thursday. She worked so hard on Tuesday and Wednesday that she was dehydrated and throwing up all day Thursday. I was the exact same way when it came to dance camps. She is a champ though, she danced each dance perfectly having to lay down and be "fanned" between routines.
Earlier in the day she had been chosen as one of the top 30 in the entire camp of over 200 girls. From there each girl performed a short solo to show their "stuff". She did 9 pirouettes, that is crazy! Sierra was chosen at the award ceremony as the "best of the best" top 6 dancers for the entire week at the camp. She is awesome!

Over the past week I have dug up about 100 of these babies! Planting shrubs shouldn't be so much work!
